Acupuncture for Veterans

The local veteran hospital in Boston area has been looking for acupuncturists for at least a few months now. The VA system has their way of doing things for hiring only veterans, so I am going to assume that the openings will be there for a while longer.

While there is no acupuncturist available within the VA system, the veterans can go to the acupuncturists who are registered in their system. I am one of the few acupuncturists in their system in Boston area. (There were only two when I called in November 2014.) For those veterans who are looking for acupuncture treatment through the VA system, here is what you need to do.

  1. Talk with your doctor in veteran hospital to get per-approval for acupuncture treatment. Acupuncture is great for pain management, PTSD, detoxing, and many other health issues. Talk with your doctor and you might be surprised.
  2. Appoint me (Jack Huang at Solution Heal LLC) or the acupuncturist of your choice as your acupuncturist.
  3. Once this is all set, you should be able to schedule with me and start the treatments right away.

Normally for those who go through the system, VA will pay for all the approved visits, so there should be no out of pocket cost. For those veterans who don’t want to go through the VA system but still want to get acupuncture treatment. I have special pricing plan for those who served the country. Please contact me for more information.
